It's the small things in life

The best thing about quitting your main antidepressant is that you can drink black coffee again without triggering a migraine! This is so much better.

Being out of the (nasty) withdrawal period, and not having had any mood changes due to the stopping are also nice, but I missed my black coffee! :)


  1. You know - the chemistry of these things is very interesting and far more complicated than I'd realized. Black coffee is one of the things I use to head off or limit a migraine that's already started. It had never occurred to me that it could act as a trigger to someone else.

    Congrats on quitting that medication and getting through the hard part!

    I'm not a coffee fan myself, but having to quit say....pineapple juice I'd be glad to have it back.
